Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?
SamenPadellen is free. You only pay your share of the court hire. That amount is shown with the match up front, if the organiser filled it in.
Who books the court, and how do I pay?
The player who opens up the match books the court with the club themselves. Every match shows whether the court is already booked and what taking part costs, usually a quarter of the court hire. You settle up among yourselves, for instance with a payment request. SamenPadellen arranges neither bookings nor payments.
The court is not booked yet. Will the match still go ahead?
The organiser books as soon as there are enough players. Whether that worked out you hear from the organiser themselves — that status is shown as it was filled in when the match was created and does not change afterwards. If the court is no longer free you agree on another time or another court together; if the organiser moves the match, you do get a notification about that.
There are not many matches near me. What now?
That happens, because we are still young. Open up a match yourself — that works better than waiting. We will put it in front of the players around you.
Where are you active?
Most matches are around Zwolle and Emmen right now. You can open up a match at any court in the Netherlands.
Do I have to be a club member?
That depends on the venue. Many clubs allow non-members to book through Meet & Play. At other venues you need to be a member or play with one. Check this before opening a match.
